Cole Cash, Prince Beefcake

I just finished reading WildCats 1, finally -- as in, it's finally out! -- and loved it, even though I have no clue what's going on. I'm a bit confused re: continuity, where WorldStorm fits with the recent Capt. Atom: Armageddon (of which I read only the last issue because it was in a giveaway bag of free comics at Forbidden Planet, but will get the scheduled collected edition). I came to WildCats late, with version 2, and fell in love with the whole concept and with Cole, and I've read the collected editions of earlier stories, plus the few minis, most recently, the Nemesis story which was great. I hope this new series becomes less confusing soon, but in any case, I'm really enjoying it. The art is nice, though not as nice as Travis Cherest's, but he could never keep to a schedule. Then again, this book was late, so I hope we're not kept waiting on this version, either. Because I'll need my Cole fix as much as I need my Roy fix.

BTW, do you see those individually drawn hairs on his chest? Very realistic. There were other shots that showed his chest off better, but his face was bleeding, so I went with this one, instead.

Edited to add the link to where this all started. Mea culpa. It was late last night when I posted this. I forgot. Sorry.

Now That's Phallic

In the interest of equality, I present a fine specimen of comics maleness in the persona of one Cole Cash, aka Grifter of the WildCats. This is from WildCats v. 3.0 issue 1. Ojectified? Maybe. Well drawn? Hell, yeah. Art by Dustin Nguyen and Richard Friend, btw.

See, it's not just Roy Harper I adore.
