I have a $5 off coupon for a graphic novel at my comic shop, good next Wednesday only. I have no idea what to buy, but I can't pass up the deal. Anyone want to suggest a title? Just leave a comment.
I couldn't help but notice when looking at your pull list that, except for a couple Wolverine titles, you're a DC gal. Why don't you have DMZ or Loveless on your pull list? I know they are Vertigo titles, but trust me and pick these up. Use that $5 coupon to get caught up by purchasing DMZ: On the Ground or Loveless: A Kin of Homecoming. These are two of the best series being published today. I promise you won't be disappointed.
Yeah, I'm a DC gal, but I've read Vertigo titles, mainly Codename: Knockout, and Wildstorm (WildCats). I've read other Marvels too, years ago: Man-Thing, Howard the Duck, Killraven, and a few others.

We are past the wednesday deadline, but if you want to do the indie thing, you might want to look up The Coffin by phil hester and huddleston. Great little book that very few seem to have seen.
hmmm..... I've been dithering about Fables. I don't know Girl Genius, but I'll look into it. Thanks. I guess I'll have to put together a graphic novels shopping list and see when the store next does a discount for them or one in general. This week we folks with pull lists get a bag of free comics. :)
