The thing is is that it doesn't look all that different from the Batgirl figure DCD released as part of a set with the Joker in 2003. There are some differences, for example, the boots on the latest figure go to mid-calf as opposed to the knee as on the first. The differences are really cosmetic, in my opinion, as when the same character is drawn by two different yet competent artists. I don't know if that is enough to get me to shell out $12.50. I've been too easy mark for DCD in the past, the company convincing me to but second or third versions of characters already produced. I mean, when DCD released a Hal Jordan GL in 2005, I had to buy it because the first version was so pre-posedly ugly, and then I had to buy the Darwyn Cooke-inspired version because. Just because.
I don't know that I knew about that figure. I really started collecting action figures in early 2006 and have gotten a lot of older ones on eBay. I don't know that I would've gotten a Batgirl/Joker set, anyway.
But I also think you can't have enough Batgirls.
I'm still waiting for a Batman and a Superman that I like, tho.
Maybe me.
