No Such Thing as a Typical Comics Reader
So We Are Comics is a thing. For the record, I am a straight, white, 60-year-old female comics reader and I have been reading comics for 53 of those years and I have no intention to stop reading comics. Comics readers come in all shapes, sizes, colors, ages, and sexual identification, and now someone's trying to get that message across. More power to them. Outsiders and people in the comics community -- creators, publishers, readers -- need to understand this and the sooner the better, for everyone.
