Lovely art, no surprise there. The one-page "origin" in book 1, followed by the lush splash page of Supes is breathtaking, not to mention succinct. There's a real "feel good" aura to this title, despite Supes' dire situation. Lois' paranoia in book 2 and Supes' sweetness in just wanting to suprise her with a special gift made for a nice "aw" moment. I'm eagerly awaiting the next issue.
Batman & Robin the Boy Wonder 3
I actually enjoyed the first two of this title, even with Bats purposefully acting like an arrogant jerk with Dick. But this is the 3rd issue and it feels more like a setup issue than the first two, which is not good. Still, it was well worth the price for the last couple of pages of one very PO'd Supes/Clark reading about the kidnapped, uh, Bat-Napped Dick Grayson. Issue 4 should be very entertaining. At least, I'm hoping it is. Art is still nice. I just don't know what to make of Black Canary who both fostered her image as a sex object by working in that club and rebelled against it. And with one of the drunk jerks, and a married one at that, looking an awful lot like Ollie Queen, I couldn't help but snicker. I just don't quite know what to make of this title.
JSA Classified 5-7
This is shaping up to be a fascinating series. The villains had center stage in this arc and I actually found myself feeling sorry for/rooting for Icicle. Brrrrrr.... Nice art, too.
